(M. Optom)
Important Information
Ø There are now 6 seats for the full scholarship in
Nepal. The top 6 scorers will get admissions at Himalayan Eye Institute (HEI),
Pokhara; where the course is run under Pokhara University (PU). The selected
candidates will have the job opportunities for 2 years after the due completion
of the course.
Ø In order to be eligible to study M. Optom (in any
colleges outside Nepal), the student must have scored at least 50% in the MEC
examinations.
Ø If you wish to go abroad (like India or elsewhere)
for Masters degree pertaining to optometry, you must take the No Objection
Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Education after you have scored in at least 50% percentile
Note that you should have NHPC license of B. Optom before you apply for M. Optom
Exam Details:
Ø Time: 3 Hours
Ø Format: Best response MCQs which have four possible
answers (ABCD)
