Mr.Sanjel: The Faker

The synopsis of the so-called cheapest marriage of Nepal can be featured in the following sentences

The Couple
The Groom: Uttam Sanjel, educationist and a social campaigner, founder of Samata education system of Nepal
The Bride: Kala Adhikari, health assistant at Samata Hospital

The Hype
Media hype is such that the marriage performed at Guheshwari temple in the late afternoon of the third of September between the aforementioned couple is the cheapest ever. The expenditure of the marriage has been disseminated as follows:
Vermillion powder (Sindur): 25 rupees
Glass bead necklace (Pote): 75 rupees
Garlands (1 for each): 200 rupees

Hence the total cost of the marriage has been said to be Rs. 300/-
One kilogram of laddu was sponsored by Haribansha Acharya, the veil (ghumto) was sponsored by Upendra Mahato.

The Procession: 10 (so said)
The family members were not invited at the wedding. The members of the wedding procession were well known figures of Nepal including Upendra Mahato (the richest man of Nepal), Maha Jodi, Manoj Gajurel, Gunaraj Luitel, Pratik Pradhan, Sitaram Kattel, etc.

The reality
When there are celebrities, there will be media persons. They will spread the news and hell knows the news is gonna viral. They knew some portals will be broadcasting the news titling it as, ‘the cheapest wedding in front of the richest person.’ It’s enough to create sensation of some sort.

They don’t count the journalists as the members of procession. In the video itself there are far too many people visible some are young people. They too are not counted. Okay!

Sanjel was a change maker; by the end of his wedding day he would be going to be the legend, only until this picture flashed out.

So, Uttam Sanjel is the faker and all the figures that came in the cheapest wedding staged by Mr. Sanjel are the accomplices of this failed publicity. Now, he should tell the media what was the actual cost of the marriage ceremony.

Upon inquiring as what is this with the picture of Jagge, gurus and all the decoration around, he hesitantly said he could not deny abiding by the Hindu culture. Everybody knows that it’s hard to upturn the tradition. That’s why they do what their fathers and mothers did. It takes a lot of courage to take unto the revolutionary road. You have to cut your emotions and attachments. If he ventured upon that road in the morning he should have stuck to it till the end of the day. Should a nobody embrace such a wedding, s/he would be denigrated. It was he and only the person at this hierarchy who would have done that with praise.

His image was already pristine and unique. His hunger to come in the limelight in this method ain’t doing any good for him. He has become yet another cheap demonstrator.

And to an utter surprise, what would be the age difference between the groom and the bride of this ideal knot? Is anybody bothered to ask?
The age of Uttam Sanjel has been confirmed to be 41, just guess the age of the bride.
