The Viral Photograph

These people simply don’t stop astonishing us. Many victors of the recent two elections have been demonstrating clown-ship every now and then. There was this one minister who shot up his own name to the media all in a day after he cut ribbon in the inaugural of a buffalo farm some few months back.

How the photo was sensationalized?

Now there are two local leaders Indralal sapkota (MP of Gandaki Province) and Janak Raj Paudel (Baglung Municipality), who came in abrupt limelight after the photo of them posing while inaugurating a water tap was out.

Tagline: It has been said that they had reached to Mulpani village in a chartered chopper.  In the photo we can see a tap tied by a plastic scrap to a rickety bamboo. Count and Look at those legendary sycophantic photographers.

It was yet another publicity stunt and they didn’t know where to put it. It is not something that they should be proud of. It must be a regular happening and they can put it in their annual achievement record or official reports not in social media.Well for now, instead of chartering choppers and all, they should have contributed to build many cemented taps in the village with the saved money. They should not have to go to the village merely to take a photo and take credit by publishing in worthless whimsical media platforms. It's their area, whatever happens there, they are bound to take the credits—whether they go there or not.

In the end, WHAT MATTERS IS WHAT IMPACT THEY ARE IMPARTING TO THE LIVES OF THE PEOPLE THEY REPRESENT.

Commoner's Voice: It's great work, 106 households are getting potable water in front of their house. Many things are sweet when they are not spoken. This viewpoint of mine might be lopsided, but as a commoner, what I see and perceive from this picture is not pleasant. I don’t know and I don’t even care which party they belong to, but still, they have their points which might be right in their perspectives. Then again, I don’t care.

KNOW THE GROUND REALITY

This nation is being dissipated by the dirty politics of CPN-Congress. According to the chair of consumers' society of the water project, the Congress leader was infuriated since he didn't get opportunity to speak up in the program; so why he made his son take the photo and sensationalize it through the Facebook. They were there not by a helicopter, rather on a full-seated Mayor's vehicle. The leaders claimed that they just wanted to show the reality of the remote village. The congress chair Sashidhar Upadhyaya blames, however, that the road to the village is under construction the ongoing work of which is gilded.

After knowing the reality,
 How we conclude?
We tend to make opinions on something simply reading newspapers and Facebook posts. That is our faulty practice because what is sensationalized is always jaundiced. Thus, we are being betrayed by the news, always. And that's the reason why I give space to suspicion to every news.
